What Avocados AI publishes, which official sources are allowed, how a page is dated, and how to report an error.

What this site is

Avocados AI is a Swiss law orientation service published by ALPHA ADVISING SA (UID CHE-141.713.575), Avenue de Thônex 17C, CH-1226 Thônex. The site explains published rules and points to their sources. It does not give a consultation, it does not create a lawyer's mandate and it does not represent anyone before an authority.

Sources that are allowed

A sentence that states a rule must point to an official text: the Fedlex collection (Code of Obligations, Civil Code, FADP, FNIA, DEBA, Citizenship Act, VAT Act), a page of the federal administration (admin.ch, SECO, SEM, FDPIC), the Confederation's SME portal, or a ch.ch page that itself points to the authority. A press article, a forum or a commercial page is not enough as the only source of a rule. A judgment discussed in the blog is identified by its reference; the question page stays with the stable rule.

Date of update

Each legal page shows the date of its last review. That date says when the page text was compared with the linked sources, not when the statute was enacted. A statute can change after that date. The Fedlex link opens the version published in the collection; that version governs, not the summary.

Report an error

A citation error, a misnumbered article or a dead source is reported to contact@avocadosai.ch, with the page address and the source that contradicts the text. The correction is dated on the page. No individual author is presented as the guarantor of the content: the publisher is the organisation.
